After years of losing and gaining weight, I knew I had to figure something out. I could no longer deny the fact that I was obese, and based on the definition, I was Morbidly Obese. I was ashamed and embarrassed. Obese, obesity - not terms I wanted used to describe me.

I would read all of those stories of people losing half their size in the checkout stand at the grocery store, and I knew that if they could do it, I could do it. It wasn't limited to just those trying to lose a few pounds, or 40 - those men and women were clinically obese too! They also knew the horrow of morbid obesity and they had figured something out. I started to STUDY what they were doing, as a group, to be so successful at losing weight. I was tired of buying into plans, or powders, or pills, or going to meetings, and I didn't want to have surgery. I was reading about the successful weight loss of hundreds of obese people, losing thousands of pounds without any of those things...and all of them were doing the same things, day after day after day. Finally, I realized what they were all doing - and how simple it really was. Permanent weight loss for the obese was no longer just a dream. I could do it too!

Without calling it anything, those people were all following the Power of Ones - small steps repeated daily to bring about massive success.
