There are thousands of books, websites, and experts telling you how to lose your weight. In fact, frequently you will find they are saying (not even suggesting!) that they know the best way to lose weight.Let's stop to think about that for a moment: seven billion humans on the face of the earth; 3 billion overweight people and approximately 1.5 BILLION (1,500,000,000) people walking (some not well because of their obesity) our earth, and some skinny-minny who was never more than 20 pounds overweight in his/her life knows the best way to lose weight?! Really?! How can you help me lose weight, especially a hundred pounds or more, if you have never had a weight problem?

And that is what this site is all about – sifting through the research, the books, the opinions on all the different weight loss methods. I chose to lose weight without surgery, because I didn’t want to be limited by what I ate the rest of my life. That was simply my choice. For some, surgery is the jump start they need to address the most serious, deadly issue in their lives, and if I can help them find the information on the right kind of surgery, or even the right surgeon – then I have helped someone to lose weight. I want to make this an educational, informative and motivational website full of ideas and inspirations to help as many people as possible lose weight. Let me explain: Weight loss is never easy – if it was, obesity wouldn’t be the epidemic that it is. More specifically, CHANGE is never easy, but there are ways that are easier than others. I wanted to lose weight without dieting, having to go to a gym, paying thousands of dollars for surgery, or giving up my favorite foods. Impossible, you think!? Actually, No. The key for us – those of us have been very heavy, obese even, is to LEARN new behaviors towards food; that's what helped me lose weight. We know what is and isn’t helping us lose weight, at least for the most part. That isn’t the problem, most of the time. We can lose weight pretty well, at least to a point – then we go back to the behaviors (the eating and not moving) that caused us to gain weight before.

Well, if I could learn to eat my favorite foods in normal quantities, and lose safe amounts of weight each week, so I didn't crash diet and then gain it all back - that would actually be the BEST way to lose weight – do you agree? I’m trying to fill this site with different diets, different exercises, what the pros and the cons are, strategies others have used to change the way they look at food. I realized, that for me, food was a form of addiction – and since I couldn’t give up on eating, I needed to learn to eat in way that gave me the body I wanted. You have asked me: Help me lose weight.
